For Zuckerberg, though, it isn t all about the benjamins. The new father said in December he plans to give away 99 percent of his Facebook stock to philanthropic efforts. He and his wife, Priscilla Chan, then launched the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, a limited liability company to  advance human potential and promote equality for all children, focusing on personalized learning, curing disease, connecting people and building strong communities.

On Tuesday, Zuckerberg also announced that Facebook partnered with the non-profit Abrasco Divulga in Brazil to raise awareness about the Zika virus, a disease spread by mosquitoes. Symptoms include  fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes.
