It’s new hire time at the top of Tesla Motors.

The Palo Alto automaker announced this week two new additions to their executive team, including a former Googler for its CFO position and the former CEO of content platform company Enservio.

Jason Wheeler, a 13-year veteran of Google, will serve as chief financial officer for the Palo Alto automaker. Wheeler was vice president of finance and led Google’s global finance function, according to Tesla.

Tesla CFO Deepak Ahuja announced his retirement earlier this year. The two will work together for a few months to smooth the transition.

Jon McNeill, ex-CEO of Enservio, joins as president of global sales and service. McNeill also has auto experience – he co-founded Sterling Collision Centers.

The movers were announced this week by Tesla CEO Elon Musk during a quarterly earning report.

Musk praised the new hires. Former hires sometimes get different treatment from Musk, who recently called Apple a “Tesla Graveyard” for unsuccessful Tesla engineers.
