Logan Couture’s status for the Sharks’ next game, Wednesday against Calgary, won’t be known until Monday at the earliest, a Sharks spokesman said on Sunday.
Couture sustained a lower body injury when he crashed into the boards during the second period of the Sharks’ 5-3 win over the St. Louis Blues Saturday night. He did not return to the game.
The Sharks were off Sunday, but Couture said on Twitter that the injury “isn’t as bad as it looked or first felt” and that he was “feeling much better.”
