The UCLA and Ball family drama continues…

Late this morning, it was reported that LaVar Ball pulled LiAngelo Ball out of UCLA and will be “exploring other options.” The abrupt decision comes weeks after LiAngelo and two other UCLA basketball team members were suspended indefinitely for shoplifting in China.

LaVar Ball has been outspoken about the shoplifting incident, even getting into a Twitter (and TV) feud with President Donald Trump over who was responsible for the release of the athletes.

When news broke of LaVar yanking LiAngelo out of UCLA, the internet erupted with reactions. Many of them were some clever jokes.

Others already started trying to recruit LiAngelo to other universities.

Some were concerned about the fact that LaVar has now pulled his youngest son LaMelo Ball out of high school and LiAngelo out of college – and whether that means we will be getting a “Big Baller Academy.”
