It will be several months before the first crop can be planted, but work is underway for the Bounty Garden project.

The garden, founded by Heidi and Amelia Abramson of Alamo, will be put in at Hap Magee Ranch Park in Danville. The garden will be tended by volunteers and everything harvested will be given to those in need.

Members of Boy Scout Troop 228 in Danville have been working this month on mounds of wooden planter boxes that will be used for the garden’s raised beds.
