The East Bay AIDS Advocacy Foundation is hosting its sixth annual 5K walk on Saturday at Lake Merritt.
The foundation will donate all funds to local organizations that promote HIV/AIDS testing, education and treatment.
Last year over 750 people participated to raise $75,000 that went to the Alameda County Medical Center, Asian Health Services and 12 other organizations.
The event registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Lake Merritt Gazebo. The walk will start at 10 a.m. Participants and teams can also register and donate online at www.eastbayaidswalk.com.
