For the second year in a row, Tesla s Model S has snagged the No. 1 spot on Consumer Reports 10 Top Picks.

It has moved the needle so dramatically, said Mark Rechtin, the magazine s autos editor, according to Bloomberg. Nothing is usurping it. It accomplishes everything people wanted in an electric car.

Consumer Reports also praised Tesla s over-the-air software updates for helping keep the car feeling fresh: A Model S that came off the line in 2013 has many of the same new features as one built today.

The test Model S scored 99 out of 100 and got 3 out of 5 for reliability. It cost $89,650 and got 84 mpg.

Three of the magazine s 10 Top Picks for 2015 were made in America. Besides the Model S, which is made in Fremont, the others are General Motors Buick Regal and the Chevrolet Impala.

Here s the top 10:

Best Overall: Tesla Model S

Luxury Car: Audi A6

Sports Sedan: Buick Regal

Midsized Sedan: Subaru Legacy

Large Car: Chevrolet Impala

Green Car: Toyota Prius

Compact Car: Subaru Impreza

Small SUV: Subaru Forester

Midsized SUV: Toyota Highlander

Minivan: Honda Odyssey

In another honor for the Model S, it also topped the Consumer Reports satisfaction survey late last year.
