Vonage Holdings, the money-losing Internet phone company, settled a patent suit over its use of AT&T’s technology. Vonage and AT&T had agreed in principle to the settlement Nov. 7, according to a statement Friday. Holmdel, N.J.-based Vonage said last month that it agreed to pay AT&T $39 million over five years for use of the technology. The companies would then drop pending lawsuits against each other.
