Will May 21 be a Twit-Out or Twitter Love Day?(5)

I’ll admit to being obsessed with Twitter these days. But I try to keep it in perspective. It has a devoted following, but it’s far, far from the mainstream. So what goes on in Twitterland involves a narrow slice of humanity.

But within that sliver of society, there is a civil war of sorts going on. Last week, Andrew Dubow who writes the Jersey Suburbia blog, announced that on May 21 he would lead a Twitter boycott, dubbed a “Twit-Out.” He and many other members of the Twitter community were mad as hell and weren’t going to take it any more.
