• A general sales tax, half- or quarter-cent, that would be used for any governmental purpose.
• A special sales tax, half- or quarter-cent, that would be used for a specific purpose, such as hospital services or public safety.
• A fee for emergency response and disaster preparedness services.
• A special tax to fund law enforcement in unincorporated county areas.
• A $550 million bond for a seismic retrofit and upgrade of Valley Medical Center and San Jose clinics. Each year, county homeowners would pay $11 per $100,000 of their assessed value.
