Yes, Tuesday’s not just Election Day. It’s part of Pantsuit Nation, a Facebook phenomenon with the #pantssuitnation hashtag that allows fans of the Democratic nominee to celebrate what her historical candidacy — and possible election as this country’s first female president — means to them.
Both Katy Perry and Beyonce have caught pantsuit fever. Beyonce donned a stylish black-and-white version at a get-out-the-vote performance for Clinton in Cleveland, Ohio Friday night.
Here are Bay Area locations listed on Facebook postings for Monday and Tuesday where Clinton supporters can gather for group photos, wearing, of course, pantsuits. We’ll update this list if more information comes in:
Monday, Oakland, 4-5 p.m.: Lake Merritt by the Fairyland Sign.
Monday, Walnut Creek, 5:30-6 pm: Walnut Creek BART station on the walkway between the station and the garage structure.
Tuesday, San Francisco, 1:30-2 p.m.: One Market Street, at the entrance of building next to One Market restaurant.
