Ahead of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, the International Olympics Committee (IOC) has released a mobile version of its Olympic Athletes’ Hub app, which aggregates all of the content published by athletes on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The IOC has always aimed to connect athletes with their fans around the world, and social networks make it easier today than ever before. The IOC’s new Olympic Athletes’ Hub app takes the concept a step further, allowing fans to converse directly with their favorite champions and view all of their latest social network posts at a glance.

The app brings together the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts of over 5,000 Olympic athletes, who will soon be joined by additional participants in the Sochi 2014 games.

As an added bonus, the app also offers training tips from the athletes themselves, including Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette’s advice for honing your ice skating skills and bobsledding tips from American athlete Steve Mesler.

The Olympic Athletes’ Hub can be downloaded for free through Google Play or the AppStore.
