A record 1 billion people used Facebook in a single day this week, the company s CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Thursday.
The 31-year-old tech mogul broke the news on the social network:
The site has about 968 million daily active users, according to the company s second-quarter earnings in July.
About 1.4 billion people log into Facebook every month.
