Cruz frequently tells campaign trail audiences that he ran up more than $100,000 in college loans—and only paid them back a few years ago. He also makes personal appeals to today?s soon-to-be college graduates who are worried about mountains of debt and skimpy job prospects. But complicating that appeal to young voters is the fact that Cruz hasn?t offered a plan to cut the cost of college. (AP Photo/Patrick Semansky)

John Boehner apparently felt like he could speak extremely freely during a Wednesday night appearance at Stanford University.

On stage in a conversation with Professor Emeritus David M. Kennedy, the former speaker of the house ripped into Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, according to the Stanford Daily.

Boehner referred to Cruz as “Lucifer in the flesh,” and went on to state: “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends, I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

While on the subject of the elections, he added that Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic primary, but noted, “Don’t be shocked if two weeks before the convention, here comes Joe Biden parachuting in and Barack Obama fanning the flames to make it all happen.”
