JetBlue Airways announced Tuesday it will offer three daily non-stops between Mineta San Jose International Airport and Long Beach beginning May 21, part of a larger expansion throughout the West by the low-fare carrier.

To inaugurate the San Jose-Long Beach service, JetBlue will offer a fare sale of $39 each way through June 14. Tickets must be booked online at www.jetblue.com.

Flights will depart San Jose at 8:55 a.m., 3:40 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Return flights will leave Long Beach at 7 a.m., 1:50 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

JetBlue also announced it will begin service from Los Angeles International, with one daily flight to Boston and three to New York’s Kennedy International Airport starting May 21. Additional flights include Long Beach to Seattle and Austin, Texas; Burbank to Las Vegas and Washington’s Dulles Airport; and San Diego to Salt Lake City and Seattle.
