Jennifer Lopez admits being a diva and having an enormous entourage may have hurt her relationships.

And she figured this out … when?

The 45-year-old “American Idol” judge blamed the failure of her relationships with Ben Affleck and husband Marc Anthony partly on her army of handlers and hair and makeup stylists, according to the New York Post.

The “On The Floor” singer recently talked about her book “True Love” on NBC’s “Today.” She said having so many people — including the “hair and makeup” folks — in her life can be difficult.

Tell me about it.

Lopez said she jumped from relationship to relationship over the years, marrying three times, because she wanted another person to fill a void that ultimately only she could fill.

“I had this confidence in what I could do. I didn’t have so much confidence in who I was or what I had to offer just as a girl,” Lopez told Maria Shriver. “I was the one who ran track and won medals every weekend, or I was the one who would go on the show and steal the show, and that would give me a confidence. But there was a part of me that just wanted love. That just wanted to be … that felt like she wasn’t worthy of love, and that’s why she was trying to do all this stuff.”

Well … I’m sure the money didn’t hurt.

Lopez also said at a book event last week in New York that she’s “happy” for ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 6-year-old twins Max and Emme and who got engaged to recently to singer Shannon De Lima, according to the New York Daily News. Lopez, who dated dancer-choreographer Casper Smart for nearly three and a half years following her breakup with Anthony, also said she’s “totally single” and totally fine with it.

“It’s not going to be forever,” she said. “Someone great will come along.”
