Upsets still continue to plague the contestants in the weekly Tribune football contest. Several entrants correctly picked 17 correct games; therefore, the judges went to the Tie Breaker to determine the first place winner.

With his Tie Breaker score being the closest to the actual 23-13 Cleveland win over Oakland, Rich Notmeyer is the winner of a $50 gift certificate from Paisanos Restaurant in the Manor Shopping Center.

Twenty games are selected each week for the contest. To be the top winner a person simply has to select the most winning games from the list of games.

A contestant who correctly picks all 20 games, including ties, will win $100. There will be only one weekly winner. The tie breaker score is used in event of ties. The closest score selection determines the final winner. Should a contestant not pick 20 perfect games, the top winner will receive a dinner from Paisanos. This week’s games are listed in the coupon on page B1.

Entries must be postmarked by Friday each week or delivered to the Tribune office, 59 Bill Drake Way by 10 a.m. Saturday. Entries are to be mailed to 59 Bill Drake Way, Pacifica CA 94044. The area for selecting your game must be completely blackened.

Winners will be announced in the Tribune. The winning contestant must pick up the restaurant certificate (or in the case of a perfect 20 game pick, the $100 prize) at the Tribune office by the following Wednesday. The Tribune is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be one entry per person per week.

The Tribune reserves the final decision on all entries and weekly winners.
