The Joe Lacob/Peter Guber era of the Golden State Warriors officially kicks off Oct. 27 vs. the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena.

The NBA released the 2010-11 schedule on Tuesday. Golden State not only gets to play at home to start, they get a Rockets squad who will have played the night before at the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Miami Heat — featuring the trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh — come to Oracle Arena on Dec. 10. The Lakers come to town on Jan. 12 and April 6. The Warriors host Sacramento Jan. 21 and April 10.

Golden State will play 10 nationally televised games: Nov. 13 at Milwaukee (NBA TV), Nov. 26 at Memphis (ESPN2), Dec. 2 vs. Phoenix (TNT), Dec. 10 vs. Miami (ESPN), Dec. 25 vs. Portland (ESPN), Jan. 30 vs. Utah (ESPN), Feb. 7 vs. Phoenix (NBA TV), Feb. 9 vs. Denver (NBA TV), Feb. 13 vs. Oklahoma City (ESPN) and March 16 vs. Dallas (ESPN).

The Warriors have three long road trips. They have a seven-games-in-11-days stretch the Warriors spend away from home, starting Feb. 27 at Minnesota. From there they go to Indiana, Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland and New Jersey.

They also have two five-game road trips. One in early November (at Detroit, Toronto, New York, Chicago and Milwaukee). The other connecting December and January (at Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Orlando and New Orleans).

The Warriors’ longest home stand is eight games in late January, early February.
