Many people know Donald Trump s position on immigration, but what about those of the other 2016 U.S. presidential candidates? FWD.us can help you out with that. It has launched a new tool to keep track of what Hillary Clinton, Carly Fiorina et al have said about immigration.

The tech industry hasn t had much luck when it comes to immigration reform — it continues to push for more of those ever elusive H-1B visas — but Mark Zuckerberg s FWD.us keeps on keeping on. Michelle Quinn wrote in the fall after the lack of action on immigration reform and the departure of FWD.us President Joe Green that the group s future seemed uncertain. But the advocacy group still shows on its website its original goals of: a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, visas for entrepreneurs and more. (President Obama has addressed some of those issues, but as this Mercury News editorial points out, all the immigration-reform wishes of the tech industry have yet to be fulfilled.)

Speaking of tech and politics, Facebook has a role in Thursday s first Republican presidential primary debate. The social network has teamed up with Fox News Channel to co-host the debate.

The debate will feature Facebook data illustrating how the issues of the day are resonating with people on today s largest platform for political conversation, according to a Fox press release. Also, questions submitted via Facebook might be included in the debate.

By the way, the aforementioned Fiorina did not make the cut to participate in Thursday s debate.
