OAKLAND — Fingerprints led to the arrest and charging of a man who BART police say burglarized cars at three train station parking lots over the last six months.
Luis Carlos Deltoro was charged by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office Wednesday with auto burglary following his arrest by San Leandro Police on July 21. Deltoro, who is 21 and lives in Oakland, will be arraigned on Friday and was not available for comment Wednesday.
BART Police linked the suspect’s fingerprints to at least three cases of auto burglary reported at BART parking lots at Hayward, San Leandro, and Bay Fair stations in the last six months.
