SACRAMENTO — Sacramento County authorities say a man and two adult sons were shot to death during what appears to have been a home invasion robbery.

The Sacramento Bee (http://bit.ly/249eWQ3 ) reports the men were found when deputies were called to a residence about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. All three died at the scene.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Tony Turnbull says the victims were a 55-year-old father and his sons, ages 21 and 32. Names have not been released.

Authorities say two or three people forced their way into the residence and, after the shooting, fled in a car. Additional people were in the home but were not harmed.

The investigation was initially slowed by a language barrier until Vietnamese-speaking officers arrived.
