Exponent may have to write-off money owed it by Chrysler(0)

exponent-logoExponent, which bills itself as “an engineering and scientific consulting firm that provides solutions to complex problems”, may have to forego $740,000 owed it by Chrysler, the troubled (is there any other kind these days?) auto manufacturer that filed for bankruptcy protection last month.

Exponent plans CEO transition from within(0)

exponent-johnston-mugExponent, the Menlo Park engineering and scientific consulting firm, said today that it will make its current chief operating officer Paul Johnston (pictured) ,who’s been with the company for 28 years, its chief executive as of the company’s next annual meeting on May 28. GM escapee re-joins Exponent(0)

Robert Lange has rejoined Exponent (Nasdaq:EXPO), the Menlo Park engineering and scientific consulting firm that was known as Failure Analysis when Lange left the company in 1994 to join General Motors. (We always got a kick out of its former ticker symbol, FAIL.) Lange is now a group vice president responsible for vehicle engineering, biomechanics, human factors, data & statistical sciences and visual communications practices.
