LIVERMORE — A section of downtown Livermore will be shut down for several hours Thursday afternoon and into the evening for the production of a car commercial, the Livermore Valley Film Commission announced.
To accommodate the filming of a holiday shopping ad for Toyota, First Street between South Livermore Avenue and South L Streets will be closed from as early as 3 p.m. until about midnight. Access will remain open to First Street from K Street, commission officials said in a press release.
Downtown shops, many of them sporting Christmas decorations for the commercial, will remain open during the closure.
