Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton made one of the greatest duos in sci-fi history. First they battled it out in 1984’s “Terminator,” and then they teamed up to save mankind in the 1991 sequel “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”

There have been three other sequels since — yes three! — but Hamilton has not appeared in any of those.

That will finally be remedied with “Terminator 6” — yes six! — and Schwarzenegger welcomed Hamilton back with a happy birthday wish on Instagram, which also gave us one of the first looks at the latest reboot.

The former California governor posted then-and-now images of himself and Hamilton, along with the following birthday greeting:

“Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton. One of my favorite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being. I’m pumped to be back together again.”

Hamilton turned 62 on Sept. 26.

Schwarzenegger, 71, has appeared as the Terminator in each of the movies except for 2009’s “Terminator Salvation.” Hamilton’s Sarah Connor, however, was MIA until 2015’s “Terminator Genisys,” in which Connor was portrayed by Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones” fame.

Sarah Connor also surfaced on the 2008-09 television series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” in which she was played by Lena Headey, another star from “Game of Thrones.”

James Cameron, who was married to Hamilton from 1997-99, is also returning to the franchise, this time as producer, according to NME. Tim Miller (“Deadpool”) will direct, and the movie will also star Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis.

The movie, which is expected to be released in November 2019, is a direct sequel to “Terminator 2,” according to Cameron.
