Apple is making it even easier for iPhone and iPod touch owners to buy more Apple products.
The Cupertino company Tuesday released its new Apple Store app as a free App Store download. The app “lets U.S. customers purchase Apple products, including the new iPhone 4,” from their iPhone or iPod touch, the company said.
Customers also can use the app to locate Apple’s retail stores, make appointments for services such as tech support or training, or buy products offered on Apple’s online store.
Apple on Tuesday also began selling a redesigned version of its Mac mini computer. The $699 computer has improved graphics and a new, smaller aluminum unibody enclosure.
