Adobe Systems, the San Jose maker of graphic design and Internet software, is adding software tools today to help online marketers make the most of ads bought from Facebook and Google.

The launch of the software suite follows Adobe’s $1.8 billion buyout of Internet analytics company Omniture last year. Omniture’s products now will carry the Adobe brand.

“Our focus remains on meeting customer needs and driving innovation into the Adobe Online Marketing Suite,” Josh James, senior vice president and general manager of Adobe’s Omniture business unit, said in a statement today.

The new software will help marketers bid for ads on Facebook, support image ads on Google’s content network, and create and deliver ads for apps on BlackBerry devices and phones running Google’s Android operating system.

“It is becoming the exception for online marketers to utilize Omniture technology for just online analytics,” James said. “Our customers are becoming increasingly sophisticated marketers and many of them are adopting multiple solutions within the Online Marketing Suite.”
