I have this, and this is how they want everyone to use their service. What would happen if this were GDrive and I couldn't access critical files?

Neal, I guess you were actually logged in when Gmail went down, thus allowing you to attempt the log in to GTalk? It is different for me, as I was not at the site. I can't even get through to the front page.

Was out for about an hour. So since the alerts for Yahoo don't work (so, you don't know when you get mail) -I thought I would look at WindowsLive Mail.
Who made THAT train wreck?
Gmail is good, I like the interface, but the reliability is weak.

One more quick one to add to the list: Google's AdWords conversion tracking is inaccurate for the first time since I've been using AdWords, about 3 years. Conversions are not showing up when they are supposed to, and my account is showing incorrect arithmetic based on the conversions that are showing up. Ad Group cost/conversion does not go evenly into the total spend for the ad group over a given time - seems like a minor detail but isn't, since much of AdWords advertising base uses conversion metrics to drive their ad spending on AdWords.
