Tribe Networks raises $3 million
Tribe Networks, the San Francisco online classifieds company, has secured $3.05 million of an $11 million Series B funding round, according to PE Week Wire. Return backers include Mayfield, Knight Ridder and The Washington Post Co.
The company seems a bit quieter since former CEO Mark Pincus left last year. Pincus, like many other valleyites, is currently down at TED, the uber conference in Monterey. Here's a summary of what's happening down there. The conference ends today.
