Google on your Dell

Nancy Adzentoivich bought a new Dell computer recently and found Google Toolbar and Google Desktop pre-loaded. Further digging turned up a Google-Dell customizable home page. Which makes us wonder whether Dells will soon start shipping with Google Pack. If so, we wouldn't be surprised. Google strenuously denied that it was building its own PCs when that rumor surfaced earlier this month. But Google's Marissa Meyer hinted back then that the company was working with PC-makers to bundle Google Pack as an add-on. The question is whether they'll have to pay for the privilege, and if so, how much?

Google is venturing into everything from Web 2.0 to desk top. It was recently rated more favorable than Baidu for Chinese users. the details please see my post The Crown Jewel of the Internet. If I were Mr. Robin Li (Baidu's CEO), I would be really worried.
