Soonr lets you "Google" your desktop with mobile phone

logo_soonr.gifOm "scoop" Malik introduces us to SoonR, a Menlo Park company that lets you Google your desktop from a mobile phone. Om's got the details here. Can this grow from mere feature, into a company? Guess it depends on how quickly we adopt the so-called 3G high-speed network.

Matt, Om focused on the Google functionality since everyone knows what Google does! If you look at SoonR for yourself, you'll see that the integration with desktop search is only a tiny part of what SoonR can do. You are right, one feature is not an entire company. SoonR is so much more. Try it on any "regular / non 3G phone". I think you'll find that we've done a lot of optimization work to make it very usable on any platform. BTW: I am affiliated with SoonR.
