"Seeing'' the big picture on News.com

CNET's News.com site has a fresh new redesign. But what caught our attention today is what they're doing with a visualization technology by a company called Liveplasma (formerly Musicplasma). Instead of trying to describe it, we'll suggest you go to this story and see the "Big Picture'' box in the right column. It's an attempt to visually show the connections between stories, companies and topics. We're not huge fans of these visualization gimmicks. But it does call your attention to other, related News.com stories. And kudos to CNET for having the guts to experiment.

This is the BEST implementation I've ever used/seen to visualize the "interconnectedness" of various topics, and the universe of data available to humans.

I want to get my hands on it and implement my own now...where can I get it?
