Rollyo -- Roll your own search engine
Rollyo is the latest search engine offering, from some folks in San Francisco. Basically, it lets you create, or "roll," your own search engine. You select the URLs of the sources you trust or otherwise are interested in, and rolls them up into a single engine that others can then access and use. They can click on a little button on the top right-hand corner of your engine, and see the sources you have selected. It is good for people who want to create a niche search engine within their specialty. It is in testing (beta) mode, and apparently will be launched during the Web 2.0 conference this week in SF.
