Baidu rebuffs Google; rumbling over at Yahoo China

strategy.jpgChinese search engine Baidu, in its first public response on rumors that Google wants to buy a bigger stake, pours cold water on the idea.

"Enjoying a huge market share in China, Baidu believes independent development is its best way out,'' reports the Chinese publication, People's Daily Online, supposedly quoting a Baidu executive. Note, though, that this is an anonymous quote.

Meanwhile, the President of Yahoo China, Zhou Hongyi, announced a sudden resignation. He leaves for "personal reasons," a line that almost always suggests intrigue.

Dude, we are tired of the constant Google stories. This site should be renamed GoogleBeat, otherwise...

Baidu is the best search engine company in China. Most of us like to use baidu to search something we like.Especially in music,we can search what we want songs and download them free.So but like me.I like english very much,so I always use google to search what I want.
