Trumba's calendar-sharing not quite there
Between the lines, our colleague Mike Langberg comes off less than ethusiastic about the calendar-sharing product offered by start-up Trumba. (He starts out his review with enthusiasm, but by the end of the piece you're wondering why anyone would actually pay for this). Big-name local venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins and August Capital invested $4.75 million in the company last year.
Here's Gillmor: His current hopes are on the Chandler (scroll down for the calendar item) project at the Open Source Applications Foundation. Though he notes that Chandler still isn't ready for prime time either.
