–Google is said to be considering an investment of $880 million in LG’s display division so that it can ensure a supply of screens for the next version of the Pixel phone.
–Hackers get more brazen. ICYMI, a hack attack in Dallas set of all 156 of the cities emergency sirens early Saturday morning.
–Flipkart, the Amazon of India, raises a funding round of $1.4 billion. Investors include eBay and Microsoft.
–Speed demons. The new Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to blow away the iPhone 7 Plus in a round of speed tests.
San Francisco-based TaskRabbit, which connects part-time workers with odd jobs in their local areas, is said to be exploring selling itself.
