Lady Gaga will be introduced at the Academy Awards on Sunday by Vice President Joe Biden, who will also speak about sexual assault awareness, according to E! News.

Gaga is scheduled to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Til it Happens to You,” which is featured in the documentary ‘The Hunting Ground,” which examines sexual assault on college campuses.

Biden, a longtime advocate for sexual assault victims, wrote the 1994 Violence Against Women Act. Rape survivor Gaga has written on the subject and worked with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on the “Enough is Enough” bill, which aims to raise sexual assault awareness in both public and private universities across the state. The bill has since become law.
