Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he isn’t atheist, believes ‘religion is very important’

Is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg an atheist?

The 32-year-old tech mogul wished Facebook users a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah this week via social media, and one user asked Zuckerberg about his religious beliefs.

In response, Zuckerberg confirmed he isn’t atheist and wrote he now believes that “religion is very important.”

Some users responded by asking Zuckerberg what religion he belongs to, but the Facebook CEO didn’t elaborate after his earlier comment.

Other tech CEOs, though, have commented about their faith before.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who Zuckerberg calls a mentor and role model, said in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone that he thought the moral systems of religion are important.

“We’ve raised our kids in a religious way; they’ve gone to the Catholic church that Melinda goes to and I participate in. I’ve been very lucky, and therefore I owe it to try and reduce the inequity in the world. And that’s kind of a religious belief. I mean, it’s at least a moral belief,” Gates said.

When asked if he believed in God, Gates responded that he thought it made sense to believe in God, noting the “mystery and the beauty of the world is overwhelmingly amazing, and there’s no scientific explanation of how it came about.”

Like Gates, Zuckerberg and his wife Dr. Priscilla Chan are dedicating the majority of their wealth to philanthropy.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also referenced a higher power when he wrote an editorial published by Bloomberg about his sexual orientation.

“I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,” Cook said.

There is nothing so easily believed as to deceive oneself.. for what we readily wish for we will accept .. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as the saying goes..God will show anyone the truth if they truly desire it. Seek and you shall find… too bad so many do this in a half hearted manner.. they only make themselves feel better…it’s a historical fact that Christ went to the cross, so why did he do this?. because God Is Love.. the only redemption of mankind is by the shedding of His Perfect Blood..life is in the blood, His blood, sinless, pure.! He hates anything corrupt..SIN… by Grace he has presented His salvation.. not of ourselves, we could never do anything of ourselves to be presentable to Him..
We deceive ourselves if we think we can “do good” to please Him, there is nothing good in us, by ourselves..He makes it so simple, .. repent and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart and you shall be saved..then do good for His name’s sake.. (as far as being gay as a great gift ) Tim Cook deceives himself, or rather the enemy the devil has done so.. satan’s goal is to keep anyone he can from the life saving Blood Of Jesus Christ..God loves the sinner , but not the sin..homosexuality is an abomination to Him..He created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve…
two gay people cannot procreate.. And in that day we will all give account, every knee will bow, every tongue shall confess “Jesus is Lord”..

For those who desire great Rich’s, ‘Money’ is their god. To those who have a great deal of ‘rich’s’, their ‘Money’ makes them a God. Many destroy Heath in search of Wealth, then they spend Wealth in search of Health. Value it most while you have it, not just when it’s gone.
