Carly Fiorina full of praise after meeting with former foe Trump

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO turned politician who publicly sparred with Donald Trump when she was one of the many candidates running for the Republican presidential nomination, met with the president-elect Monday.

Fiorina, who is reportedly being considered by the incoming presidential administration to be the director of national intelligence, sure has changed her tune about the man who once insulted her appearance — specifically, her face.

After a meeting at Trump Tower in New York today, she reportedly said he is “getting fantastic people in his administration” and that it was “an honor” to be there. Fiorina also said: “We talked about hacking, whether it’s Chinese hacking or purported Russian hacking.”

(Trump is rejecting the CIA’s assessment that the Russians sought to sway the U.S. presidential election in Trump’s favor.)

Fiorina, who had agreed to be Sen. Ted Cruz’s vice-presidential running mate before Trump secured the GOP nomination, once said that Trump “does not represent me or my party” — after the “Access Hollywood” tape was leaked in October and Trump was heard bragging about groping and kissing women without their permission.

But after today’s meeting, Fiorina gushed about, among other things, the sports memorabilia in Trump’s office. “I was particularly taken by the size of Shaq’s shoe, which is huge,” she reportedly said. “I guess it takes a champion to know a champion.”
