Amazon s Transparent wins, everybody wins. Well, at least those who want fast shipping and online movies. Amazon is celebrating its Emmy wins over the weekend by offering discounted Amazon Prime memberships of $67 a year instead of $99. But the offer stands for one day only: Friday, Sept. 25.

Sunday, Amazon original series Transparent scored five Emmys, including one for leading actor in a comedy for Jeffrey Tambor. As Chuck Barney wrote for the Mercury News, it was the first major-category Emmy win for Amazon streaming. Another pioneering Emmy victory for streaming: Uzo Aduba of Netflix s Orange Is the new Black won for best supporting actress in a drama, and Netflix also took home a couple of other awards.

Earlier this year, Netflix and Amazon shows and actors (including Transparent and Tambor) won Golden Globe awards.

In other streaming news:

  • Streaming music revenue has for the first time, the Recording Industry Association of America reported Monday. And it looks like streaming will soon overtake digital downloads as well.
  • And French streaming-music service Deezer . Deezer, which has more than 6 million subscribers, wants to raise money to step up competition with Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora.
