What a week it’s been for Texan 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed, detained last Monday for showing his teachers a homemade clock they thought looked like a bomb, and hobnobbing with Google co-founder Sergey Brin this Monday during a whirlwind trip to Silicon Valley.
The teenager accepted an invitation to attend the annual Google Science Fair in Mountain View, which had its awards ceremony on Monday night.
