Apple says the App Store, Apple Music and some of its other services have been down for some users since shortly before 7 a.m. Pacific time.

The other affected services are:  Apple TV, iBooks Store, iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, iTunes Store, iTunes U, Mac App Store, OS X Software Update, Radio, and Volume Purchase Program.

We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available, Apple says on its system status page.

The outage comes on the day the company is set to release its earnings, and after the debut last month of Apple Music, its streaming service.
