We ve rounded up some tech and entertainment news for you.

Sorry, Hannibal fans, it looks like streaming may not save your show, at least for now. Executive producer Bryan Fuller tweeted Monday that Netflix and Amazon have both declined to pick up the cannibal drama, whose third season will end Aug. 27. NBC announced last month it would not be renewing the show. But Fuller did say in his tweet that he was still investigating possibilities.

Some canceled TV shows have found new life on streaming services. For example, Netflix picked up Arrested Development, and Hulu will be home to a new season of  The Mindy Project.

But here s what is coming to Netflix: two movies starring a couple of big names. Beasts of No Nation, starring Idris Elba, will be released on Netflix in October at the same time it will premiere in some movie theaters — at least the theaters that haven t refused to carry the movie because of its simultaneous release on Netflix, according to Variety. And The Ridiculous Six, featuring Adam Sandler, will be available on Netflix in December.

In other online entertainment news, Showtime is now taking signups for its streaming service, which parent company CBS announced last year. It costs $10.99 a month and can be accessed on Apple devices, on Roku, via Hulu and through PlayStation Vue. Showtime s move follows competitor HBO s standalone-streaming rollout in April — as the premium cable networks battle Netflix and Amazon for subscribers.

Finally, we mentioned in today s On Topic the report that said YouTube now has 240 billion monthly views, and how the video site s top multi-channel networks are raking in the dough. A standout figure: $7.4 million, which is reportedly how much YouTube s most popular channel, featuring gaming star PewDiePie, made in 2014.
