Netflix accidentally released Season 3 of House of Cards on Wednesday — more than two weeks before the scheduled release date — briefly elating fans before quickly yanking away the Frank Underwood drama for which viewers have been salivating for months.

Without warning, the entire Season 3 of the hit Netflix-original series appeared in users accounts Wednesday afternoon. There they were, all 13 chapters of the power-hungry, back-stabbing, manipulating, black-mailing, corrupting and twisted sagas playing out in the seat of the nation s capital.

And almost as soon as they arrived, they were gone.

The season is slated for release on Feb. 27, and Netflix has been marketing the heck out of the show, milking every last minute of viewers anticipation. So it seemed weird when, all of a sudden, the season landed on iPads and laptops weeks early.

House of Cards 3 just started streaming on Netflix 2 weeks earlier than planned. Huh, guess Jeb Bush really did move things up.

A whole lot of worker productivity was nearly lost as a result.

I go away from Twitter for five minutes and I come back to spoilers for season 3 of House of Cards. WTF.

But, it shouldn t have been so. Less than an hour later, users were reporting error messages where Season 3 episodes had once been. Apparently, a technical glitch at Netflix had caused the kerfuffle.

Due to a technical glitch some Frank Underwood fans got a sneak peak, a Netflix spokesperson said in an email. He ll be back on Netflix on Feb. 27.

There wasn t enough viewing time to offer any real spoilers, but here s something to chew on for the next two weeks: Frank s presidency gets off to a rocky start, and if you ever thought the Underwood power couple had any allegiances, well … all bets are off.

Did you really think I d give everything away? Did you really. Good things come to those who wait. Good things and trains.
