The new Tesla Model S P85D with dual battery motors, all-wheel drive and 691 horsepower absolutely wiped out the old Tesla P85 with its single battery and 415 horsepower in this video matchup recorded by Drag Times. The magazine reported that the new Tesla pulled 1.29 G’s as it started.

It vanquished the older model in both standing and rolling starts, accelerating rapidly and pulling away easily from the P85. Check out the video:
