The professional networking site Linkedin on Thursday announced a revamp of its homepage that the company said was intended to make it easier for its members to use and to connect with others.

“At the very top of the homepage, your new dashboard gives you instant feedback on how you’re doing,” Linkedin said in a news release. “See how many people have viewed you and understand how your status updates are performing. Click on either one to get deeper insights into what’s resonating with the connections you care about.”

It invited members to express their thoughts about the change on LinkedIn or on Twitter using #MyLinkedIn.
