There s an iTunes phishing scam going around, according to security firm Malwarebytes. It comes in the guise of an email that says Apple is offering you a refund.

Twitter is rolling out ads on Moments. Advertisers can buy Promoted Moments for a day, and the first buyers are reportedly the makers of the movie Creed.

ICYMI and in case you re keeping track, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is now the third-richest person in the U.S., surpassing the Koch brothers. This is because shares soared Thursday after Amazon beat expectations when it announced quarterly results, complete with a surprise profit, yesterday. Shares are up more than 6.5 percent today. Bezos also promised that the company would post a profit during the holiday season.

Also helping boost the stock markets today is Microsoft, which reported its earnings yesterday. Shares are up more than 10 percent after the company beat expectations and amid optimism about its new businesses.

Speaking of Amazon and Microsoft, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said Friday on TV show Bloomberg Go: I think they are a place that people don t want to work. Anybody who ever left Microsoft you could count on them, to Amazon, we could count on them coming back within a year or two because it s not a great place to work, to do innovative stuff as an engineer. Remember, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos reportedly dissed Microsoft as a country club, according to a New York Times article in August about Amazon s workplace culture.
