Zuckerberg gets enshrined in wax

Becoming a billionaire is so passé these days, especially around these parts. But having a wax statue done of yourself,  now that’s something to boast about.

In the picture here, Karmen Bell of the San Francisco Travel Association on Wednesday takes a selfie with the wax figure of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, on display Wednesday at the future site of Madame Tussauds at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. Madame Tussauds is scheduled to open  there on June 26

Appropriately, Zuckerberg’s wax representation is wearing a hoodie and fussing with a laptop. It’s also barefoot, whatever that means.

Two other celebs whose wax images are displayed at Madame Tussauds’ sneak preview were actor Leonardo DiCaprio and pop star Rihanna.

The attraction is at  the former San Francisco Wax Museum building on Jefferson Street, which closed in August.
