HP reportedly removing another top executive

Rumors are flying about another executive shake up at Hewlett-Packard. This time it involves Dave Donatelli, executive vice president of HP’s enterprise group, who reportedly has been reassigned to an as-yet undisclosed role at the Palo Alto company.

His ouster and replacement reportedly will be announced today when HP reports its quarterly earnings, according to AllThings D, which broke the news.

If true, Donatelli will be the latest in a series of top executives to be reassigned by CEO Meg Whitman, since she assumed that position about a year ago. Whitman has been trying to revitalize the storied tech giant in part by shaking up its executive ranks.

Another top person who was reassigned earlier this year is Todd Bradley, who headed HP’s troubled printing and personal computer business.
