Zillow hosting Obama housing Q&A today

Zillow — it’s not just for looking up your home’s value and weeping, you know — will host a housing Q&A with President Obama today at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Questions will come from submissions via social media, including Vine, Twitter’s short-video app and will be moderated by Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff, according to the Seattle-based real estate site.

The Q&A is called Zillow Presents: A Better Bargain for Responsible Homeowners — Ask President Obama Your Housing Questions. It can be accessed at Zillow.com/WhiteHouse or WhiteHouse.gov, and @Zillow will be live-tweeting it with the hashtag #AskObamaHousing.

The event is obviously designed for Obama to further sell his plans to make big changes to the mortgage market, which he talked about Tuesday. But it’s also yet another way the president is making use of social media. As we’ve written, Obama has made the rounds (either virtually or in person) on Reddit, Google+, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
