Quoted: on Siri and finding prostitutes

a user of Sina Weibo (commonly known as the Chinese Twitter), on Siri directing Chinese iPhone (and some iPad) users to brothels upon request, but supposedly not being able to point them to restaurants. China Daily, a state-run newspaper, reports that after an outcry, the voice-activated personal-assistant software now responds with “I couldn’t find any escort services” after Apple blocked searches for such places. All forms of prostitution, including escort services, are illegal in China, according to the China Daily. Siri has been controversial before.
